Pezzettino - Because I Have No Control (Independent) Pezzettino is just the one person: pianist / accordianist / singer Margaret Stutt. The handwritten note from Margaret that accompanied Because I Have No Control explains that the album was recorded on her laptop in miscellaneous rooms in various houses; “it’s basically what I sound like at 3am in my pajamas”. Well, there’s no denying that that sort of information adds a certain intimacy to the listening experience, though it’s hardly essential. It’s an album that is intimate by its very nature. Turn it to just the right volume level and she’s right there with you, similar to a one-woman Young Marble Giants, singing her scarily personal songs and staring out the cat.
