Cuchillo - Cuchillo (Sinnamon) Cuchillo are Israel Marco (guitar and vocals) and Daniel Domínguez (drums and percussion). Together, the Spanish duo spawn an organic brew of gentle psychedelic folk-pop, littered with ethereal vocals and shimmering guitar. The effect is both dreamy and mildly invigorating - think an acoustic Quicksilver Messenger Service signed to 4AD circa 1985, and you might have some idea of what I’m on about, or be completely flummoxed. Okay, try a cross between Rain Parade and Mazzy Star - gentleman vocals with a languid, psyche persona - is that any better?
