Fugitive Kind have made for themselves a neat souvenir CD of by-the-book rock, none of it more challenging than you might find third on the bill at the local pub. Even the presence of top-notch producer Ed Stasium can’t energise such ordinary fodder. He must be scratching around for work since his heyday with The Ramones and Soul Asylum.
