He has had his songs covered by fellow outlaw Willie Nelson, and in a sense they are the last of a dying breed. This is an album that was recorded in one night session in Berlin after he went over there to appear in a festival. They are songs of loneliness, women, and desperation. He is an artist that has lived the working musician life, and suffered for it, and the raw emotions come out in these songs. It is just him and an acoustic guitar on all twelve tracks.
