Cliff Hillis - The Long Now (Tallboy) I don't normally start a review with alliteration, but this is potent power pop at its best. It sets off at a brisk pace with the opening track "She Sees" and really doesn't falter after that. Pop songs can sometimes get a bad press, but songs this good, with catchy choruses and strong lyrics, do a lot to redress the balance. This is a musician that you may not have heard of in this neck of the woods, but he is slowly getting his music heard in the USA through TV and film placements - "Follow You Anywhere" sounds like it could have been the theme to Friends.
