Steve Postell - Time Still Knocking (Immergent) Never judge a book by the cover. Or a CD for that matter! This album has a cover of Steve Postell playing a dobro, and the first track, "3.45 Coming Through" has a slow bluesy dobro feel on the intro, and then it kicks into a funky blues track, highlighted by Robben Ford's distinctive guitar style. The rest of the album is a fine blend of rock, pop, Americana and a little dobro playing especially on the title track. This guy has a stellar support list playing on this album, from Jennifer Warnes to Waddy Wachtel to Paul Barrere. Stand out tracks include "Believe In You", "Missing You" and "Long Way Home".
